Moveworks Newbies

Nice to meet you all! I’m sort of new to the community. I am Liz Ellis, I work at Ciena Corp and I partner with our product owners for Moveworks, regarding HR related activities. We went live with Moveworks several years ago; first with IT (ServiceNow) and 6 months later with HR.  We use Workday and have enabled HCM, Recruiting, Talent Management, Learning, Peakon, and more. We’ve been using Workday for over 10 years.  I would love to connect with any Moveworks customers integrated with Workday.  I will be at the Workday Rising conference next week (Oct 12-16 ‘26) and if other Movework/Workday customers will be there, it would be great to connect. Feel free to reach out to me at eellis@ciena.com. Thanks!Liz

I connected to ServiceNow.However, I did not set up “Service Portal Configuration”, so the default table mappings are not shown. If I set up “Service Portal Configuration” now, will the table mappings appear?I also tried to set the table mappings manually, but I get an error.Could you please tell me how to fix this issue?

Hi all, Nice to meet you all! I’m new to the community. I am Juan Navarro, product owner for Moveworks in Siemens (HR domain). We went live with Moveworks a few years ago for the IT Domain, and we are now in the middle of the deployment of HR domain (knowledge + agent studio). I would love to start creating connections with other product owners so we can share experiences, discuss pain points, debate interesting use cases, operational topics, metrics, change management, and more. I am based in Spain, so CET time zone. We can start with some online meetings, but also happy to travel to meet folks in person.   My Linkedin profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/juannavarrodepalencia/ Thanks!

Hi everyone,My name is Erica and I’m currently working through the Moveworks Academy trainings, specifically the Agent Studio Developer track, and I’d like to get more hands-on practice with Agent Studio.Since I don’t have access to an existing Moveworks tenant yet, I wanted to ask,  is it possible to get access to a demo or sandbox Agent Studio developer instance for training purposes?I’ve reviewed the documentation that mentions building within an organization’s tenant and requesting a sandbox from a Moveworks admin or account team, but I’m not sure what options exist for individual practitioners or new community members who are learning through the Academy.Any guidance on how to proceed or confirmation on what’s possible today would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Here is the rephrased version:---Hi everyone,I am new to the **Moveworks** community and I am looking to get some hands on practice with the platform. Could anyone please guide me on how to request a **MyMoveworks instance** for practice and learning purposes?Any guidance or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!---

With 1,136 product ideas and counting, it can be a lot to scroll through. Here are three ways to narrow it down:1. Sort by what matters to you Use the "Recently active" dropdown at the top to switch between:Newest first Most replies Most votes Recently active2. Filter by idea status Want to see what's actually been delivered, or what's coming soon? Use the status filter on the right side to view ideas by where they stand:New On Roadmap Existing Functionality/Native Skill Future Consideration Controlled Availability Delivered Duplicate Possible Agent Studio Solution3. Filter by product area Only care about AI Assistant or Agent Studio? Use the product filter below the status filter to zero in on the area most relevant to you.Pro tip: before submitting a new idea, search with "Most votes" selected first. Your idea might already exist and just need your upvote to gain momentum!Check it out yourself here.

Hi everyone! I’m new here to sharing my introduction. Here’s a bit more about me:What I’m working on: I’m leading efforts to scale AI-driven support across multiple business units, focusing on smarter ticket routing, better self-service adoption, and faster resolution times with Moveworks. What I want to learn or discuss: Excited to hear how others are driving AI adoption in enterprise teams, especially non-technical ones, and measuring real business impact. Tips for balancing automation with a human touch are always welcome.Fun fact: When I’m not at work, I’m rock climbing, or training my dog to sit through virtual meetings, he’s now the best (not so) silent observer on the team.

260408-016.prod3.us -  This is my ID I can log into Okta but cannot see the manage apps within moveworks. This sends me to help and documentation page. I have already completed a few labs 0-2 and was working perfectly okay today.

It's been here all along: a dedicated space within our community to share opportunities, find talent, and support each other's growth. If you haven't checked it out yet, now's a great time. For customers: Post consulting projects, contract roles, and full-time job openings you want to put in front of a trusted professional network. For partners & professionals: Browse opportunities for yourself or your organization — whether you're actively looking or simply keeping an eye open. For everyone: Share posted opportunities with your broader network. Help great talent and organizations find each other. It's a low-pressure, professional space, perfect for those open to new possibilities without formally "job hunting." Think of it as a warm network, not a job board.A few simple guidelines:Share relevant, professional opportunities only — consulting work, project-based needs, and job openings. No cold sales pitches or unrelated promotions. Keep it collegial — we're here to support each other

If you're not sure where to start in the community, this is one of the most useful things you can do in the first few minutes. Each product forum has a Subscribe button in the top right corner. When you subscribe, you'll get an email notification any time a new topic is posted in that space. No need to remember to check back manually. How to do it:Navigate to the product forum that matches what you're working on (AI Assistant, Agent Studio, Enterprise Search, etc.) Look for the Subscribe button in the top right Click it. That's it.You can subscribe to as many forums as you'd like. If your focus changes or the emails get to be too much, you can unsubscribe the same way.Not sure which forums are relevant to you? Start with the ones that match your current Moveworks products and go from there.Browse product forums.

We are new to Moveworks and very excited for what is coming for us. During demos and some testing, we noticed that that when a chat with a live agent is started, the end/close button’s position could potentially make it easier for users to unintentionally close the chat. I would love to hear comments from people from this community and see if it is only us 😅Thank you

Hello Team,I have recently created a Confluence connector and successfully ingested internal Confluence pages into our Moveworks bot. Most of the articles/pages were ingested without issues. However, I noticed that a restricted page in Confluence (with page-level permissions limiting access to certain users/groups) was not ingested by the connector.Could you please clarify if this is the expected behavior of the connector? Does the connector skip pages that have restrictions, or is there a way to include them in the ingestion process?
