AI Assistant

Migration to GPT 4.1 Model (July 28):

The GPT-4.1 model is now available and ready for all CA & AU customers. This update specifically applies to the AI assistant's reasoning engine, which acts as its "brain" for decision-making, plugin selection, and summarization.

For more info, read our GPT 4.1 upgrade post in community. Please also read the GPT 4.1 upgrade blog post on the Moveworks website.

UX updates

  • Richer Chat Responses (July 15, Available Now)!
    • Smarter, Clearer Responses are now available to all Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Web customers (for all CA & AU customers). We’re updating how the AI Assistant formats its messages to make them easier to read. Instead of dense blocks of plain text, responses will soon include structure like section headers, bullet points, code lines, code blocks, and bolded key details. These improvements make it easier for employees to scan information quickly, understand what matters, and act with confidence.
    • For more info, read our AI Assistant UX updates post in community.
  • Shorter progress updates (ETA August)
    • We're reducing the number of progress messages the AI Assistant sends during backend tasks (ticket creation, DL additions, password resets, custom plugins) to minimize conversation clutter while maintaining transparency about task status.
    • For more info, read our AI Assistant UX updates post in community.

Enterprise Search

Enterprise Search helps employees efficiently search for and access information from various, disjointed sources, all in one centralized surface. This helps employees to discover artifacts and insights faster, empowering them to stay focused on more strategic work. Enterprise Search is only available in our new web-based application.

      • We're improving how ServiceNOW handles article updates by switching to consistent article number identifiers. This eliminates the current 24-hour delays that organizations with article versioning experience when articles are updated.

    • Benefits for customers:

      • Faster Content Updates: Significantly reduced blackout periods (from 24 hours to minimal delay)
      • Improved Reliability: No more service interruptions when articles are updated
      • Better User Experience: Your teams get access to the latest content immediately
    • More info will be available in community soon.

Content Gateway

  • HTML Support, Incremental Ingestion, and Permissions Ingestion (WIP, more info on this will be shared soon)

Webhook Triggers

Webhook triggers enable Moveworks agents to listen to external systems (Workday, Salesforce, Asana) and automatically trigger plugins without third-party tools, replacing the current Paths/Queries/Events system in Classic Agent Studio.

Key Customer Benefits:

  • Automation that talks to people, not just systems. Combines backend automation with LLM-powered natural language interactions - sending notifications, collecting data, and requesting approvals conversationally
  • iPaaS Consolidation. Eliminates need for third-party tools like Workato/Zapier by bringing automation natively into Moveworks platform
  • More automations, faster AI adoption. Background automations (disk alerts, approvals) surface notifications at the right moment, helping employees discover new capabilities without memorizing commands

For more info, please visit the Webhook triggers limited preview page in community.
