What is a Moveworks Product Idea?
A Moveworks Product Idea is a suggestion from you, our customers, on what we should consider building next and are candidates to consider for our roadmap research.
Our Product team uses Moveworks Product Ideas alongside other key inputs to inform our product roadmaps.
How do I submit a Moveworks Product Idea?
You can submit a Moveworks Product Idea by clicking on the Create Topic button and selecting the “Product Idea” radio button.

Please be sure to include important details in your idea. Typically a user story is a great way to describe product ideas.
“As a [persona], I [want to], [so that].”
Example
Title - As a Moveworks admin, I want to be able to self service new knowledge and file search connections so that my users will be able to search and retrieve new content.
Description - Currently as the admin of Moveworks I interface with 4 different internal teams on a monthly basis to continue to add to the Moveworks search corpus and by having self service configuration available I will be able to be more effective.
This idea clearly described what we are looking to accomplish and, good news is this idea is already part of our product roadmap and is available in 2024!
Do’s and Don’ts for Posting New Ideas
- Don’t share PII or Sensitive information (Check your screenshots!)
- Share enough information to help our product team make an assessment use the user story format
- Upvote, comment and share your favorite Product Ideas with others
What are the statuses you will see on a Moveworks Product Idea and what do they mean?
New: Pending Moveworks Product team review. Product team aims to review new product ideas for initial response every other week.
Existing Skill or Native Functionality: We believe that the request could be achieved leveraging an existing skill or some native functionalities and will highlight what those are so that you can determine if it will meet your needs.
Future Consideration: This means that we are not doing it right now, but will continue to assess it and use it as inspiration to our research initiatives as we expand and improve our products and offerings.
Need more information to make a decision: We will often share questions that will help us clarify the ask in order to share a response.
Delivered: We assess our backlog of Product Ideas after every major launch and will change the statuses of any requests to “Delivered” if we have delivered the functionality. We will share information to get you started with your implementation.
