PDF Tables not readable

Hi all, we have numerous (200+) PDF documents containing tables, and some consist entirely of a single table relating to rates etc. Editing these manually into a readable format for Moveworks would be very time-consuming for the various departments and would slow adoption. Is there a automation tool that can be used to edit and modify the tables for improved readability? How do other companies edit their existing and legacy documents? Thanks

You can automate this using PDF table extraction tools like Tabula, Adobe Acrobat Pro, or ABBYY FineReader. For more control and batch processing, Python libraries like Camelot, pdfplumber, or Excalibur can extract tables into CSV/Excel. After extraction, use scripts or ETL tools (pandas, Power Query, Alteryx) to clean and standardize the tables. Many companies automate this workflow: extract → clean → export → feed into systems like Moveworks, avoiding manual editing altogether.
