Hi,

We are looking for way to enable our chatbot to be able to be able to reset payroll passwords for our employees. Our payroll system is built on people soft. The current process is when the user calls in and we verify who they are, we go to the module we have to reset passwords and put in their employee ID or name, select the user record and click reset password. This sets it to a generic password that always starts the same 4 characters at the beginning and then the persons MMYYSSSS.

Hi @tylerpeterson5 - Can you explain in more detail? Is the module in PeopleSoft? Do you know if PeopleSoft has the APIs to support that?

Hi Kevin. Thank you for your response. Our technicians have a module within the app that starts like this

Once you put in the persons name or employee it takes you to this page where you just click reset password and it sets it to the generic default which is listed up above. The user types that in on their side and it automatically takes them to a spot to set their new password. I dont interact with this system that much so i am not sure if it has an API to support something like this or not.

It’s a bit hard to give you a recommendation if we don’t know if there are APIs available. I highly recommend doing some research there, to see what’s possible
