Product Update: New Interactions Viewer Role in Analytics

We are about to introduce a new role in Analytics called the Interactions Viewer. This role ensures secure and streamlined access to interaction-related data across all web-based data products.

🔍 About the Interactions Viewer Role

Users with the Interactions Viewer role will have access to the following products:

  1. Interactions Table
  2. Feedback Table
  3. Channel Resolver Interactions

Additionally, they shall be able to drill down into widgets , ie, click to view interactions in Plugin insights.

🔐 Access Management

All users who currently have access to any of the products listed above have automatically been assigned the Interactions Viewer role.

  • Super Admins can add or revoke this role for users as needed.
  • We recommend that Super Admins review user access and make updates wherever required. Please note that only Super admins have the power to govern who can and cannot see all user conversations with the assistant, ie, only super admins have the power to govern who gets “Interactions viewer” role

🔜 Coming Soon: Custom Viewing Functionality

Over the next two months, we’ll be introducing Custom Viewing in Analytics. This feature will allow users to:

  • Create filtered views of data products.
  • Segment data by domain, department, or region.
  • Share customised views with other users.
  • Exclude specific columns when sharing data.

With Custom Viewing, teams will be able to focus on the data most relevant to them and share tailored reports with the right stakeholders.
