Setup Configuration Cleanup: Removal of Unused Settings

Overview

Moveworks is simplifying the Setup experience by removing configuration settings that are still displayed in Moveworks Setup but no longer affect how your instance behaves. The first set of these settings has now been removed. This cleanup is ongoing, and further updates will be shared as they roll out.

What's Changing

Three settings that no longer control any functionality have been removed from Setup:

Access Account — "Time waited before delivering link" and "Time waited before closing the ticket"
Channel Resolvers → Channel Settings — "Enable skill in dry-run mode" (under Additional Controls)

These settings were no longer connected to any active functionality, so their values had no effect regardless of how they were configured. You may notice they are no longer visible on these pages.

What Stays the Same

Your Moveworks experience is unchanged. Because these settings were not driving any behavior, their removal has no impact on how your assistant operates, and no existing configuration is affected. All other settings on these pages continue to work exactly as before.

Required Actions

No action is required. This cleanup is still in progress, and we'll share further updates as additional settings are reviewed and removed. If you have any questions or encounter any issues, please file a case through the Now Support portal.

One further setting has now been removed: Form Search Settings under Forms → Advanced Configs → Bidding.

This setting was no longer connected to any active functionality. Your existing configuration and your Moveworks experience are unchanged.

No action is required. This cleanup remains in progress and we'll share further updates here. If you have any questions, please file a case through the Now Support portal.

Duplicate settings removed from Moveworks Setup — no action needed

We've removed a few settings in Moveworks Setup that duplicated controls you already have in AI Assistant > Plugin Management. These duplicates had no effect — Plugin Management is the setting your assistant actually reads.

What's changed

Group Access > Plugin Settings

Removed: Enable toggles for group creation, member addition, and member removal
Removed: "Ask for group description"
The Group member removal section has been removed, as that toggle was its only setting

Lookups > Plugin Settings

This page has been removed. It contained one setting: "Enable Knorah"

Do I need to do anything?
No. Your assistant behaves exactly as it did before, and none of your Plugin Management settings were changed.

Where do I turn these plugins on and off?
In AI Assistant > Plugin Management.
