Update: We've upgraded the AI models powering LLM Actions in Agent Studio. Here's what you need to know.
What changed
- GPT-4o and GPT-4o-mini have been retired by OpenAI and are no longer available.
- All existing use cases that referenced these models have been automatically upgraded to GPT-4.1 and GPT-4.1-mini, respectively. Your agents continue to work with no interruption.
Do I need to do anything?
No. The migration has already been applied. Your agents are running on the updated models today.
If you're creating new LLM Actions or updating existing ones, select a model from the GPT-4.1 family going forward. GPT-4o and GPT-4o-mini will no longer appear as options.

As a managed AI platform, Moveworks monitors model availability across providers and handles migrations so you don't have to. When a model is deprecated, we upgrade affected configurations to the best available replacement -- keeping your agents running without manual intervention.
We're also evaluating ways to simplify model selection in LLM Actions in the future, so you can focus on the reasoning capability you need rather than tracking specific model versions based on dates.
