Adaptive Thinking brings faster responses to lightweight interactions such as “Hi,” “What’s your name?” and “Thanks.” Instead of waiting for the full reasoning model, these simple turns can take a lightweight response path without unnecessary tool calls. More complex requests continue to use the full reasoning and tool-use pipeline.
