LLM Actions in Agent Studio now use GPT-5.4 mini by default

Starting today, Agent Studio’s generate_text_action and generate_structured_value_action use gpt-5.4-mini by default, replacing gpt-4o-mini.

This brings a more capable default to common LLM Action tasks such as summarizing and comparing documents, generating content, classifying information, and extracting structured data. Explore OpenAI’s GPT-5.4 mini evaluations.
