The AI Assistant you already know is coming to a new home – on the web.

So much work happens in the browser, and now your Assistant will be there too. We're making it effortless for employees to get the help they need, when they need it, and wherever they need it. By bringing the Assistant to the web, Moveworks is stepping right into the center of work. We're meeting employees directly in their flow, helping them stay focused, move faster and unlock even more impact from every interaction.

AI Assistant on the web interface

From chat companion to the center of work

Today, our AI Assistant helps employees inside tools like Teams & Slack, service portals, and intranets. But employees spend far more of their day in the browser than they do in chat. And as we evolve the Moveworks platform with deeper intelligence, more data and agentic plugins, we need a broader, more expansive canvas to unlock its full potential.

This isn't just about expanding to another channel — it's about evolving from an integrated companion to the heart of work itself. Moveworks will continue to support the Assistant in its existing surfaces, but the web will become the main stage for productivity going forward.

Access and availability

We believe that all users can benefit from using this new surface, so we're including it to our customers for free. Once it's released, you'll be able to turn on access and roll it out seamlessly to your teams.

We'll begin to grant access the week of November 3. Add your name to the list to be one of the first to get access!

Firstly, the new assistant is fantastic! I love the clean UI, the chat history and separate notification section.

One known issue I’ve encountered is with Employee Comms Admins not being able to preview Employee Comms via the Web AI Assistant. I’ve been advised by the support team that the preview still needs to be reviewed via Microsoft Teams and Slack. Published Employee Comms work fine though, so it’s only the preview that doesn’t appear.

Some additional feedback: It would be wonderful to see a prompt gallery in the Web AI Assistant so Admins don’t have to capture and keep the prompts up to date in other documents e.g. Saved prompts and prompt gallery for Moveworks AI Assistant | Community

There was a list of prompts that users had access to under the initial demo of the web assistant (it was under https://playground.moveworks.com/ which is no longer accessible). Would love to see this feature reintroduced 😊
