Meet Jordan Craig (@jordancraig) who is the driving force behind Skyscanner’s viral Calendar Management AI Agent - an innovation that’s transforming how meetings get booked. Built in collaboration with Senior System Engineer Adam Newman, this powerful agent checks colleagues’ availability and instantly schedules meetings, all without the back-and-forth. Already live in production, it’s saving time, minimizing context switching, and proving how impactful a well-designed AI Agent can be.

We caught up with Jordan to learn more about the inspiration behind the agent, how it came together, and what advice he has for others building with Moveworks.

Here’s what he had to say:

  1. What was your biggest ‘aha!’ moment during the hackathon?

Realising how quickly you can go from concept to something actually useful. I came in expecting to tinker with prompts and maybe bolt on some APIs, but the way Agent Studio abstracts away a lot of the boilerplate really lets us focus on solving the problem. It surprised me how natural it felt to design for capability, rather than just completing a sequence of actions.

  1. What’s one feature or enhancement you’d love to add to your agent next?

More dynamic context awareness. Right now, it’s good at executing based on predefined signals, but I’d love it to infer more from implicit context — like recent user behavior or adjacent system states — and adapt its response accordingly. Basically: less “if this then that,” more “this seems like what you need.”

  1. What advice would you give to other teams looking to get started with Agent Studio and build high-impact AI agents of their own?

Start with the user outcome, not the technology. It’s easy to get sucked into the cool capabilities, but the most effective agents we saw during the hackathon had a razor-sharp focus on real pain points. Also — get something working quickly, then iterate in small loops. Agent Studio makes it easy to test fast, so lean into that.

  1. Is there anything else you’d like to share?

Just that it’s exciting to see tools like this lower the barrier for building genuinely helpful AI. You don’t need a team of engineers anymore — just a solid idea and a willingness to explore. That’s a shift worth paying attention to.

Huge shout out and thanks to Jordan for sharing his insights and for leading the way with such an impactful AI Agent.

Have you built something similar in Agent Studio?
