Recognition of names in Asian languages with special characters

We realized during our recent pilot that Omni doesn’t always recognize names of colleagues that have special characters. (e.g.: ő, é, ű, á)

Name example: 동료이름(한국어

Employee anecdote:

Omni doesn't recognize colleague names in Korean/Chinese/Spanish/French/ETC if there are special characters

Hey @austin.krogh could you provide some further context for us to understand this better?

    Some additional info like

    1. Utterance examples (without PII)
    2. Is this in chat?
    3. What plugin do you expect to trigger on the utterances?

Hi @kyril.remillard - Happy to. See screenshot below. We have employees in Asia whose names are written with special characters. Omni doesn’t seem to recognize them currently. Yes, this is in chat. API in this case would be with Workday contact information, but also leveraging translation capabilities to pull name in native language and translate on the fly to cross-check with what we have in Workday.
