NGCP: Connect with colleague option as part of people lookup plugin

Provide a link to connect with colleagues via Teams or to send an email as part of people lookup functionality - both a hyperlink with the email to send an email and/or a link to chat with them in MS teams would add a lot of efficiency to this existing capability. Thank you!
