Upvote to this.  One team member keeps asking the team stuff in our group chat…. would be great to have the bot respond.

It’s turning into the AI Agent version of “Here, let me google that for you” … please help…

Feature request: Channel Resolver for Microsoft Teams

Problem:

Channel Resolver is currently limited to Slack. Microsoft Teams customers cannot use the same public-channel interception and resolution capability in Teams channels, even though Teams is the primary collaboration platform for many enterprises.

Request:

Extend Channel Resolver to Microsoft Teams channels with equivalent or improved capability:

- Detect support requests in Teams channel posts and threads.

- Respond in-thread or DM based on configurable policy.

- Use knowledge, files, forms, access workflows, and ServiceNow ticketing.

- Respect source permissions and user access controls.

- Allow per-Team and per-channel configuration.

- Support ticket creation and ticket sync back to the Teams thread.

- Provide admin audit logs and analytics.

- Allow proactive follow-up on unresolved threads where permitted.

Why now:

Anthropic has launched Claude Tag in Slack as a shared AI teammate that can be tagged into channels, retain channel context, work asynchronously, and use admin-approved tools and data. This is likely to shift customer expectations for AI assistants in collaboration platforms.

Moveworks already has the enterprise workflow advantage. Adding Microsoft Teams support for Channel Resolver would protect that lead and prevent the experience from being seen as Slack-only while competitors move toward broader channel-native AI agents.
