Feature Request: A way to mark the status of the edit

Being able to mark an edited copy as “draft” or “final” would be helpful. This way we could mark something “final” and we would know we have published this article in our knowledge source. “Draft or In Progress” could be that we are still working on it and it hasn’t been published yet.

This is a great idea! @jbentahir I have a question for you. What additional best practices do you all follow when writing articles? I am curious if it’s common practice for multiple people within your organization to work on the same article? Do you want others to be able to mark your article as “final”? 🤔

At Equinix, we have several reviews before we publish an article. The IT Helpdesk may use this to create the knowledge, then send to IT Comms to review and tweak. If we could mark “final- published” or some variation of different statuses, we would know what has actually been published and what is still in the works or not relevant to us. I am thinking of status: Reviewed not relevant (remove from suggestions for a certain period of time before suggestion shows again), Editing, Draft- ready for review, Final-Published.
