Nowadays we’re seeing significant innovation from multiple LLM providers.
Would it be possible to expand access beyond Azure OpenAI models to include additional providers such as Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and others?
I believe expanding model options would significantly enhance the platform specially in agent studio use cases - using LLM actions.
Would this be something worth considering?
+3Thanks for the suggestion, João. Today the built-in LLM actions support the OpenAI model family, but you can call other providers' APIs directly via HTTP Actions — so Anthropic, Gemini, etc. are all reachable today.
We'll likely expand LLM actions at some point so you can access the full suite of LLMs provided by the ServiceNow GenAI Controller. In the meantime, HTTP Actions are the way to go for non-OpenAI models.
What's driving the interest in other providers for your use case? Is it model quality on specific tasks, cost, or something else? Knowing what gap you're seeing with the current models would be helpful.
