We’ve noticed that our bot includes many different user stories and use cases, each serving a unique purpose. However, the chat interface looks the same for every type of interaction, regardless of the context or workflow.

To improve the overall end‑user experience, we would like to propose:
a. Dynamic UI Color Themes Based on Conversation Context 
The chat interface could automatically adjust colors, highlights, or visual accents depending on the type of use case the user is engaging with.
 

Examples:

  • IT Support → blue theme
  • HR inquiries → green theme
  • Finance or invoices → gold or teal
  • Alerts or urgent actions → red or high-contrast theme

This helps users:

  • Quickly understand the category of the interaction
  • Feel more guided and less confused in multi‑step workflows
  • Get a more engaging and intuitive experience

b. User‑Controlled Chat Theme Settings
 

Allow users to manually choose a theme or mode based on their preferences or the task they are performing. Similar like MS Sharepoint site where the site color can be set by site owners 

Possible options:

  • “IT Mode”
  • “HR Mode”
  • “Finance Mode”
  • “Dark Mode / Light Mode”
  • “Accessibility Mode” (high contrast, large font, etc.)

This gives users:

  • More control over their own experience
  • A sense of personalization
  • Better accessibility, especially for visually sensitive users
