Please move the ability to publish a CreSt use case to only CreSt admins, and not CreSt developers. If we had to use the existing 3 roles we offer today (Admin, Developer and Analytics Viewer), the roles would be modified as follows:

Crest Developer - Can author a use case and launch to selected users but not all users. Also, can't view analytics
Crest Admin - Can do everything a developer can do + can also launch use cases to all users + add/remove developers via RBAC + view analytics
Crest Analytics Viewer - Can only view analytics (no change)

Taking this a step further would be if someone wanted to push to all users, they could select that option, but this option would send an API call to something like ServiceNow to allow a flow to be built in ServiceNow. Once someone approved in ServiceNow the use case would be auto deployed to all users.

Hi @Jresor,

Definitely understand your feedback here – you don’t want developers to start publishing unauthorized plugins to the entire organization.

To do what you’re describing, we actually recommend separating development into a separate sandbox instance. In the coming months, we will release Sandbox Promotion, which will make it possible to move plugins from that sandbox instance to production.

This way, your developers only see analytics / logs for use cases in the testing environment, and the admin will see it for the production environment.
