In Confluence, the Excerpt macro lets you reference a block of text from a single source of truth on other pages. This makes it easy to reuse text without needing manual updates.

Right now, the MW bot doesn’t detect text inside the Excerpt macro. This means the referenced block has to be copy-pasted and updated manually whenever the source changes.
It’d make our workflow much simpler if the bot could recognize content within the macro.
