Citations for FAQ - Not necessary!

We have noticed that citations are offered for users even when the knowledge source is a FAQ. Since the user cannot click on a FAQ citation, could it be possible to not put any citation when the source is FAQ? It would reduce user confusion. We have had users complain they cannot click on a citation.
