Can there be an easier way to view the technical names of User Identity Attributes?

I would like to be able to view the technical names of the User Identity Attributes within the User Profile UI, without having to navigate away to the User Identity Configuration wizard.  These names are not intuitive for all attributes, especially custom attributes.
