The functionality of Brief Me has lead to some confusion from our user base. The requirement to lock into Brief Me mode indefinitely has been punishing to users trying to learn how to use the feature. The complaint raised today was from a user who tested Brief Me weeks ago but didn’t exit. Today, responding to an approval notification failed with a response telling the user to exit Brief Me mode.
If the context of the file is lost after 24 hours, why does Brief Me mode stay active until explicitly told to Exit?
Brief Me knows that the context window is gone, by telling you to Exit. Couldn’t it just use that understanding to exit Brief Me automatically if the context window has passed?
