Analytics date range lock

I’d like a feature to set a custom date range in analytics and then have it remain in place as I move through the different pages. If I set a specific custom 9 week range in “Overview” I still want that in place when I jump to Plugin Insights or User Insights. It seems that would be the default setting, as people want to look at analytics during the date range they set. Having to reset a custom date range every time I look at a different view of data wastes a lot of time and makes analytics less useful.
