OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code Grant Type (User Consent Auth)

OAuth 2.0 Auth Code is under construction and still on track for Late April!

We are still investing in the OAuth 2.0 Auth Code connector type.
However, Limited Preview is being pushed back and is TBD.
 

Is there any update on this?

We are currently working on implementing the proper security & data measures to make this possible.

We are undergoing work the necessary security & data work mentioned above. This likely won’t be completed until Q1 2025. We will follow up with an update when we are able to pick this project up again.

hi ​@Lucas Rollo, is this functionality only for certain platform like slack or can we use this for any systems that supports OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code auth?

usually via postman using code auth, we are re-directed to a sign-in page where we enter login cred of the system, generate auth code which is sent over a mail and we enter the code to sign-in and then generate the token which will be used to call the system APIs to impersonate user permissions.

How will this use-experience be via Move works? is it simplified or the user has to go via the above cycle?

Hello Team Is the limited preview available now? 

​@kaushik.muralidaran Yes this functionality will work for any system that supports OAuth 2.0 with grant type: Authorization Code. The process for Moveworks will be much simpler. End users will not have to worry about the authorization code or token.

On-Behalf-Of flow is not currently on our roadmap, but if you have a specific need for it, let us know!
