Hey everyone,

We're thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to how we track feedback telemetry in your analytics dashboard.

We heard from many of you that the feedback counts in your dashboards were low. You told us this made it challenging to get a full picture of employee sentiment, potentially causing you to miss key opportunities for improvement.

What's Changing?

To give you a truer and more immediate signal, we are upgrading our feedback tracking.

  • Previously: We counted feedback after a user clicked thumbs up/down and submitted the follow-up form.

  • Now: We are capturing every single thumbs-up and thumbs-down click as a feedback event.

This change ensures that even the quickest, most immediate reactions from your employees are counted, giving you a much richer dataset to work with.

The Impact: Deeper Insights, Better Signals

So, what does this mean for your dashboard?

Based on an initial analysis by our data team, you can expect to see a substantial increase in the feedback volume you're capturing. On average, we expect your feedback volume to increase by 200%.

This surge in data will empower you with more accurate signals to pinpoint employee challenges and celebrate what's working, helping you make your assistant even better.

This update will be available during Week-4 of September.

@yash : These changes will also be available via data api via end of sep?

This limits the ability to get an extract of ALL reactions and I am able to dowload only the ones where there were verbatim feedback. We report on all the thumbs up and thumbs downs and with the extract only downloading partial data it adds ALOT of manual work on our side to keep a count of how many total reactions were recieved. This enhancement took the experience a step back.

@Apoorva to clarify, the previous experience did not include just a thumbs up or thumbs down click. A feedback metric was only recorded if the user clicked the thumbs up/down and then also gave text feedback and clicked submit.

This update will make it so that just a thumbs up/down click will be captured in the metrics, without the need for the text feedback submission.

@rgeroulo : Are these changes already included in the data api?

Will these metrics be available in the raw interactions or user interactions tables? That would let us see everything in one place, instead of having to open multiple reports. It would be very helpful to see the full, end-to-end interaction path in a single report.

Hi,  From the analytics dashboards - the user feedback downloads  do not capture the counts for helpful/unhelp - meaning the number i see on the dash screen, doesnt match the downloaded content. The numbers are a nice new feature to see the true thumbs up/thumbs down, but i need the thumbs down conversations / responses to make good use of the thumbs down data.    Please enable the ability to download all the thumbs up / thumbs down interactions even there isn’t a text feedback.
