Multiple Moveworks Issues: Bot Authentication, Missing Workflows, and Missing Moveworks User Role

We are currently facing multiple issues in our Moveworks and ServiceNow integration and would appreciate guidance on troubleshooting them.

1. Bot Authentication / Access Issue

  • The bot account status in Moveworks is showing an error (API-related error) and is highlighted in red instead of active/healthy.
  • We have already configured the bot account in Moveworks using the ServiceNow account and completed the chatbot setup.

2. Data Refresh Issue

  • User profile/data refresh has not run successfully for the last 4 days.
  • We suspect the bot account issue may be related to the data refresh problem.
  • The ServiceNow bot account was recently created, and it appears the account may not yet have been imported or synchronized into Moveworks.
  • Could the failed data refresh be preventing the bot account from being recognized or authenticated correctly?

3. Missing Default Workflows

  • We have configured ticketing for Incident, Request, Request Item, and Task.
  • However, no default workflows are visible in the Moveworks Workflow section.
  • Could this be related to the same synchronization or access issue?

4. Missing Moveworks User Role in ServiceNow

  • We created a dedicated ServiceNow account for Moveworks and assigned the required roles.
  • However, the Moveworks User role is not available in our ServiceNow instance, so we are unable to assign it to the integration account.
  • Is there a plugin, application, or configuration step required to make this role available?

Could you please help determine whether these issues are related and advise on the recommended resolution steps? Thank you.
