[Fixed] Missing file name in plugin resources API (DATA API)

Hello Moveworks Community,

What happened

A configuration change on July 1 caused one of our internal data pipelines to stop populating descriptive metadata (such as titles and source information) for file-type resources. Because the failure was silent, it went undetected until July 20, when we identified it, fixed it, and backfilled the missing data.

What you may have noticed

During this window, some file resources in your Analytics may have shown blank or n/a values where descriptive details would normally appear in the Data API and Raw Interactions table. The impact was limited to file-type resources and to a small portion of overall records.

What was not affected

• Your AI Assistant experience — this was strictly an analytics reporting issue, not a product or end-user one.
• Other resource types — FAQs, knowledge articles, and other connector content.
• No data was lost.

Resolution

We corrected the root cause and backfilled the complete July 1–19 window across all regions. Your Analytics now reflect accurate, complete values. No action is needed on your part.

If you exported or built reports from Analytics during July 1–19 that involved file resources, we recommend refreshing them to pick up the corrected values.

Preventing this going forward

We've added automated data-quality alerts that catch this kind of gap immediately, so a silent failure like this won't go unnoticed again.
