Problem
A failure in ingestion from a single application currently stops the entire ingestion flow, preventing updates even when other sources are healthy.
Request:
Introduce an active–passive failover switch for each application connector within the ingestion pipeline. So if there is an issue with one application the whole ingestion process still completes and only attributes used from the failed application is not updated
Benefits
- Prevents full ingestion stoppages
- Ensures maximum data freshness from available sources
