The AI Assistant you already know is coming to a new home – on the web.

So much work happens in the browser, and now your Assistant will be there too. We're making it effortless for employees to get the help they need, when they need it, and wherever they need it. By bringing the Assistant to the web, Moveworks is stepping right into the center of work. We're meeting employees directly in their flow, helping them stay focused, move faster and unlock even more impact from every interaction.

AI Assistant on the web interface

From chat companion to the center of work

Today, our AI Assistant helps employees inside tools like Teams & Slack, service portals, and intranets. But employees spend far more of their day in the browser than they do in chat. And as we evolve the Moveworks platform with deeper intelligence, more data and agentic plugins, we need a broader, more expansive canvas to unlock its full potential.

This isn't just about expanding to another channel — it's about evolving from an integrated companion to the heart of work itself. Moveworks will continue to support the Assistant in its existing surfaces, but the web will become the main stage for productivity going forward.

Access and availability

We believe that all users can benefit from using this new surface, so we're including it to our customers for free. Once it's released, you'll be able to turn on access and roll it out seamlessly to your teams.

We'll begin to grant access the week of November 3. Add your name to the list to be one of the first to get access!

Get a head start now:

By getting on the list now, you'll:

  • Get early updates and launch notifications
  • Receive resources to help your team prepare
  • Be ready to enable AI Assistant on web as soon as it's live

Hi JenHanley,

Do we have more options to come for company branding?

I see for us it has picked up some existing brand we already have in “Moveworks Setup” but as in your screenshot in the top left we still see Moveworks branding.

Thanks.

Hi @JenHanley !

Is this something we have to enable for different user groups? I’m able to access but another MW user in my org isn’t.

Hey @Simon Vassallo! It looks like Assistant on Web will automatically inherit your organization’s existing Assistant branding settings from Moveworks Setup -- see Configurable Brand Elements section of our related help documentation. Outside of that there’s also this product idea that sounds related to what you’re looking to accomplish: Side Bar Panel Color Customization for Web AI Assistant -- if true please upvote and feel free to chime in with a comment on the thread 😊

@emkelly I’m checking with the team on further guidance here, but per the documentation (section Who has access to Assistant on Web?) it looks like this might be an update needed to your organization’s SSO provisioning rules. I’ll let you know if I hear anything else back on this.

@JenHanley - Yes, it is the sidebar customisation. I have upvoted the post you provided a link to.

We noticed the answers are out of order - providing the right answer to the user and then giving us the message that it is looking up the answer afterwards -

Additional Considerations -

  1. Being able to name our chat threads

New – enhancement idea

  1. Being able to mark notifications as read is nice – it would be great if we had some other capabilities on there like
    1. marking it with a specific color to come back to ,
    2.  archiving it and
    3. being able to forward it to another user
    4. disappearing if someone else approved it already or if I approved it in the teams window, or from an email or the tool itself  ( this is a reach I know – but this is a problem at Leidos – we have many methods of communication for approvals in sn and we have lots of teams that have many approvers (groups that anyone can approve ) .

Do we have a roadmap posted anywhere?  We are curious if we can trigger other custom copilots we built within this interface
